Only my third ever protest and proved to be quite a surreal experience as whilst taking photos of a choir who had written a song to perform at the event they welcomed me and my parents into their group and invited us to perform with them. I assumed they meant perform on the pavement where they currently were and we did, before being ushered to the front of the thousands strong crowd and perform to them. I can't sing and I lost my lyrics sheet but other than that I'd describe my participation as a success.
